Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Principal Model Governance professional to provide tactical guidance for managing model risk across various teams within our organization. You will collaborate closely with model validation team leaders and other stakeholders to implement and enforce model governance frameworks, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance and effective risk management. As part of your role, you will lead efforts in standardization, automation, and workflow management, while interacting with external regulators, auditors, and business partners to demonstrate operational soundness. Additionally, you will be responsible for generating reports, maintaining documentation, and analyzing quantitative models to assess risks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Implement and operationalize new/emerging guidance impacting model risk.
- Enforce standard policies and procedures related to modeling processes.
- Lead and maintain model risk management infrastructure and standardization efforts.
- Interact with regulators, auditors, and business partners to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Business, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- 6+ years of experience in Model Risk Management, Model Governance, or related fields.
- Alternatively, 10+ years of experience in building, testing, and validating models.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in relevant field.
- 8+ years of experience in Model Risk Management or related roles.
- Proficiency in SAS, SQL, Tableau, PMP, FRM.

Compensation
Base salary ranges from $103,000.00 to $174,200.00. Additional incentives and benefits are provided based on eligibility and experience.
