Job Description

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. As part of the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining secure, open source encryption tools and libraries to help AWS customers protect their sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, including designing, prioritizing, and implementing new features.
• Operate globally distributed servers and manage customer interactions.
• Develop foundational libraries using C and Rust to ensure the security of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one software programming language.
• Experience in leading design or architecture of systems.
• Prior mentorship or team leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
