Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer specializing in AWS Cryptography to join the Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. As part of the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team, you will play a crucial role in designing, testing, and implementing secure and user-friendly encryption tools and libraries to safeguard sensitive data for our global customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, ensuring the delivery of secure features.
- Manage globally distributed servers and customers for an AWS business.
- Develop foundational libraries in C and Rust to enhance the security of AWS services.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in software programming and system design.
- Previous leadership roles in design or architecture of systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of full software development lifecycle practices.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field.
