Job Description

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on open source projects, implement cryptography solutions at scale, and ensure the security of millions of customers' data.

Responsibilities

• Own the software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, including designing, testing, and implementing new features.
• Operate globally distributed servers and deliver secure libraries in C and Rust.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and security specialists to provide cryptographic solutions to internal and external customers.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience in software programming language and system design.
• Leadership experience in design, architecture, or mentoring roles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Full software development life cycle knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
