Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. If you are passionate about practical cryptography, building secure software solutions, and working with open source encryption tools, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, including defining, prioritizing, designing, testing, and implementing new features.
- Operate an AWS business with globally distributed servers and customers.
- Deliver foundational libraries in C and Rust to enhance security across AWS services.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in programming with at least one language.
- Experience in leading design or architecture of new systems.
- Previous experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
