Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. As part of the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining secure open-source encryption tools and libraries, enabling our customers to protect their sensitive data effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead the software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography.
- Operate and support globally distributed servers and customers.
- Develop foundational libraries in C and Rust for highly secure AWS services.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in programming with at least one software language.
- Strong design and architecture skills.
- Prior mentoring or team leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
