Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic Senior Software Development Engineer to join the AWS Cryptography team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing and implementing scalable and secure cryptographic solutions for our customers, ensuring the safety of their data.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the complete software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography, including feature definition, design, testing, and implementation.
- Operate and enhance globally distributed servers and services using C and Rust, contributing to one of the most secure systems in AWS.
- Build and maintain secure, open-source encryption tools and libraries to protect sensitive data both within and outside of the cloud.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language and experience in system design and architecture.
- Prior experience as a mentor, tech lead, or in leading engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience in the full software development lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field.
- Passion for delivering high-quality, secure software solutions.
