Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our care management team at Carroll Hospital, part of the LifeBridge Health system. This part-time position requires a weekend commitment with a day shift schedule from 9:00am to 5:30pm. As a Social Worker, you will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient care for inpatients, address a variety of social issues, including abuse, neglect, substance abuse, mental health, and adoption, and connect patients with necessary community resources. Ideal candidates will have a Master's degree in social work, 2-4 years of relevant experience, and either an LCSW-C or LMSW license.
Responsibilities
- Partner with healthcare team members to provide efficient care for inpatients.
- Coordinate with community agencies to address social issues and connect patients with resources.
- Possess interest in working in the Emergency Department.
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work.
- 2-4 years of recent social work experience, preferably in a medical setting.
- LCSW-C license preferred, LMSW candidates will also be considered.
