Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a vital member of our store operations, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, stocking shelves, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide outstanding customer service
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Stock shelves, process customer purchases, and maintain a clean store environment
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to company cash policies
• Follow established company procedures and contribute to overall store efficiency

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle customer transactions
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
