Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI family. As a crucial part of our team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, operating the cash register, and ensuring the store remains clean and organized at all times. By collaborating with our ALDI team, you will contribute to enhancing the customer shopping experience and delivering exceptional customer service.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers effectively
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate efficiently with management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and overall store operations
• Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies
• Follow company protocols and maintain document security

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of following cleaning standards and company procedures
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
