We are hiring substitute paraeducators to join a top education client in Oregon. The role of a substitute paraeducator is to support classroom teachers in providing additional assistance to students, focusing on promoting academic and personal growth. This position encompasses tasks from enhancing regular curriculum delivery to working with individual students. Responsibilities
- Provide instructional support to individual students or small groups.
- Assist teachers in classroom management and overall class supervision.
- Help with administrative tasks like setting up equipment and preparing materials.
- Supervise students during various activities within and outside the school premises.
- Address students' academic, personal, and emotional needs.
- Support students with special needs as per their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 Plans.
- Execute additional duties delegated by teachers and school administration.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
Pay: $13.50/hr
