Technician- Echo/Vascular - Hamilton - Noninvasive Vascular - FT/First Shift

Join Kettering Health Network as a Technician in Echo/Vascular at our Hamilton location. This full-time position offers first-shift hours and the opportunity to make a difference in the field of noninvasive vascular imaging. As part of our team, you will work under general supervision to perform high-quality echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds, following accredited guidelines. You will collaborate closely with Cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and Radiologists to produce top-notch ultrasound images and provide exceptional care to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds following established guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging and diagnosis.
• Demonstrate knowledge of ultrasound techniques and patient positioning for optimal image quality.
• Exercise independent judgment to produce accurate and detailed diagnostic images.

Requirements

• Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer by ARDMS.
• Hold ECHO certification.
• Registered in adult echocardiography (RCS or RDCS) and vascular ultrasound (RVS or RVT).
• Graduated from an accredited school of Ultrasound/Sonography.

Qualifications

• On-call availability for echo and vascular imaging.
• Ability to live within a 30-minute radius of the hospital.
