About Us

We are looking for a dedicated Transplant Program RN Manager to join our team at the Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA). Our Transplant center provides comprehensive care to Adult and Pediatric patients undergoing organ transplantation in heart, lung, kidney, liver, and pancreas.

Job Description

The Transplant Program Manager oversees the transplant program, ensuring compliance with organ allocation policies, managing organ-specific workflows, and handling day-to-day transplant team operations. The role requires deep understanding and proactive management of all aspects of the transplant program.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and management of transplant program operations.
• Ensure compliance with organ allocation policies.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the transplant teams.
• Collaborate with department leaders and directors for effective operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Nursing with MSN/DNP.
• 5+ years of RN nursing experience with leadership.
• South Carolina licensure and BLS certification required.

Preferences

• Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) preferred.
• 3+ years of Transplant related experience preferred.

Additional Requirements

The role includes physical requirements such as standing, walking, bending, lifting, and handling 50 lbs. of weight. The ability to work in stressful situations, rotating shifts, and overtime is essential. Good vision, hearing, and olfactory functions are required.
