Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are hiring Warehouse Associates to join our team at Slumberland Furniture. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for efficiently handling merchandise movement, ensuring inventory accuracy, and providing excellent customer service. This position offers a full-time schedule with a competitive starting salary of $17 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Move and condense merchandise to optimize space efficiency.
• Handle incoming and outgoing merchandise, ensuring accuracy in orders and records.
• Provide training to other employees on proper procedures.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
• Adhere to safety policies and practices to maintain a safe and organized facility.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (or currently working towards).
• Basic math skills and knowledge of tools and hardware components.
• Valid driver's license and basic computer knowledge.
• Experience with POS systems is desirable.
