Salary: Competitive pay starting at $17 per hour

Primary Objective & Scope of Position:
This role involves performing various duties related to merchandise movement, including storing, moving, and distributing products. The Warehouse Worker will lead by example and provide training to fellow employees.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:
Merchandise Movement

  • Efficiently move and organize merchandise within locations to optimize space.
  • Handle the movement of merchandise to and from the show floor for storage, delivery, customer pickup, or shipment.
  • Utilize the point of sale (POS) system to manage merchandise flow.
  • Ensure accuracy in customer orders and system records.
  • Receive incoming merchandise by unloading, identifying, inspecting, tagging, and reviewing. Prepare outgoing merchandise by unpacking, inspecting, assembling, and wrapping.
Training
  • Lead by example and provide training to other employees.
Customer Service
  • Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by resolving discrepancies and updating management.
Other
  • Adopt lean practices and perform duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Assist with grounds and building maintenance, including lighting.
Safety
  • Adhere to safety policies and practices, demonstrating safe behaviors and risk reduction.
  • Prevent equipment and merchandise damage through proper handling, operation, and maintenance.
  • Maintain a safe and organized facility in compliance with company rules.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED (or currently working towards).
  • Basic math skills.
  • Knowledge of tools, hardware components, and product assembly.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • POS knowledge is desirable.
