Job Description

Slumberland Furniture is currently seeking Warehouse Workers with Forklift Operations experience to join our team. This full-time position offers competitive pay starting at $17 per hour. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a vital role in merchandise movement, inventory management, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Primary Objective & Scope of Position

• Perform merchandise movement tasks, including storing, moving, and distributing products efficiently.
• Provide training and guidance to other team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Move merchandise within locations to optimize space utilization.
• Prepare merchandise for display, storage, delivery, or shipment.
• Utilize the point of sale (POS) system for managing inventory.
• Ensure accuracy in customer orders and system records.
• Handle incoming and outgoing merchandise while maintaining quality standards.
• Deliver professional customer service and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Adhere to safety protocols, maintain equipment, and ensure a safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills.
• Knowledge of tools, hardware, and product assembly.
• Valid driver's license.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Experience with POS system is a plus.
