Salary: Competitive pay starting at $17 per hour
We are currently seeking Warehouse Workers with experience in forklift operations to join our team immediately. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in the movement and distribution of merchandise to ensure efficient operations.
Primary Objective & Scope of Position:
This position involves storing, moving, and distributing products within our warehouse. In addition to handling merchandise, you will also provide training to other team members and lead by example.
Essential Functions and Accountabilities:
- Move and condense merchandise to optimize space efficiency.
- Transfer merchandise to and from various locations within the warehouse.
- Utilize point of sale (POS) systems for managing inventory flow.
- Ensure accuracy in customer orders and system records.
- Receive, inspect, and prepare merchandise for storage or shipment.
- Provide training to new employees.
- Maintain professional communication with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
- Resolve inventory discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents and damage.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED (or currently working towards).
- Basic math skills.
- Knowledge of tools and hardware components.
- Valid driver's license.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Experience with POS systems is desirable.
