Job Description
We are currently hiring Warehouse Workers with Forklift Operations experience to join our team at Slumberland Furniture. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for efficiently moving, storing, and distributing merchandise. This full-time position offers competitive pay starting at $17 per hour.
Primary Objective & Scope of Position
This role involves the movement and organization of products within the warehouse, as well as training other employees. It requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently move and organize merchandise to optimize space.
- Prepare merchandise for storage, delivery, or customer pickup.
- Utilize the point of sale (POS) system accurately.
- Ensure order accuracy and maintain inventory records.
- Conduct incoming and outgoing merchandise procedures diligently.
- Provide training to team members.
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (or working towards one).
- Basic math skills and knowledge of tools and hardware.
- Valid driver's license and basic computer skills.
