1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. This role offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $18.50 to $24.50 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in receiving incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and maintaining warehouse appearance and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse according to guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Contribute input to improve warehouse processes.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
