1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers to join our team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently fulfilling orders, handling merchandise, and maintaining warehouse standards to ensure smooth operations.

• Schedule A2
• Schedule B

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Collaborate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality and safety concerns.
• Follow ergonomic and safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to change.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
