1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. This is a full-time position offering 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $20.75 - $26.75 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in receiving and organizing incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders, maintaining warehouse standards, and collaborating effectively with the team.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively within the team.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positivity, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
