1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that our products are received, selected, and delivered efficiently to our stores. As a part-time position with fewer than 30 hours a week, you will have the opportunity to work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas. Our comprehensive training and safety program will equip you with the necessary skills to excel in this role.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving budget goals.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation concerns.
• Operate equipment safely and adhere to ergonomic and safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate quality, safety, and collaboration in work.
• Show resilience, drive for success, and efficiency in tasks.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, and work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, operate powered industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
