1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a part-time team member, you will play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. You will work in ambient and temperature-controlled areas, ensuring the efficient flow of merchandise to meet our customers' needs. This position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week with a starting wage of $23.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently receive and select incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Organize, load, and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Collaborate effectively with peers and leadership to improve processes.
• Inspect and report on product quality, safety, and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, and efficiency in work.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, basic math skills, and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Capable of lifting up to 45 pounds and operating powered industrial equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and moving of products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Frequent standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking.
• Work in varied temperatures, including outdoor and cooler environments.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment.
