2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and participating in inventory counts. You will collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to enhance processes and uphold safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and leadership.
• Provide input to improve processes.
• Inspect products for quality and safety.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follow safety guidelines and report issues.
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness and positive attitude.
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Organize and execute tasks efficiently.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and moving up to 45 pounds of product.
• Operating powered industrial equipment.
• Working in varying temperatures.
• Physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and lifting.
