Associate Equipment Operator- NMP Unit 2

Job Description

We are looking for an Associate Equipment Operator- NMP Unit 2 to join Constellation Energy, the nation's largest producer of clean, carbon-free energy. As part of our team, you will operate, inspect, and service plant equipment, with a focus on ensuring operational excellence in a nuclear power plant setting. This position involves manual and remote operation of equipment, troubleshooting operational issues, maintaining detailed logs, and providing operational guidance and training to personnel. In addition, you will perform fire protection duties, emergency response tasks, and support various plant maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Operate and service plant equipment in a nuclear power plant.
• Conduct manual and remote equipment operation.
• Troubleshoot and report operational problems.
• Maintain accurate logs of events and operating conditions.
• Provide training and guidance to personnel.
• Perform fire protection duties and emergency response tasks.
• Support plant maintenance activities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Completed college-level training in math/science courses.
• Ability to read basic diagrams and prints.
• Pass NRC license physical examination.
• Physically capable of essential job functions.
• Completion of required training and certifications.

Starting Pay Rate: $36.54 per hour
