Equipment Operator - Mechanic

Job Description

Wysocki Family Companies is looking for a skilled Equipment Operator - Mechanic to join our team at the Eagle River Seed Farm Location in Eagle River, WI. In this role, you will provide maintenance support for various agricultural equipment and vehicles, ensuring smooth operations during planting, cultivation, harvest, and winter seasons. You will also be involved in snow removal, building maintenance, potato grading, and other tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and troubleshooting maintenance on agricultural equipment and vehicles.
• Operate farm equipment like tractors, trucks, and conveyors safely and efficiently.
• Contribute to various farm activities including record keeping, snow removal, and shipping/receiving.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of field/maintenance experience with agricultural equipment.
• Mechanic experience with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment types.
• Knowledge of tools, welding skills, and basic electrical systems.
• Experience using technology systems for maintenance purposes.
• Valid Driver's License and Pesticide License (within 3-6 months of hire).
