Job Description

The Clumpies & GOOD DOG Catering and Events Team Leader will play a crucial role in executing catering and special events operations. Reporting to the Inventory & E-Commerce Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring outstanding guest service, supervising team members, managing event logistics, and driving sales growth through effective customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent guest service in alignment with organizational values.
  • Lead and motivate the Catering and Special Events team to achieve operational goals.
  • Schedule and manage catering outlets efficiently, maximizing revenue during peak seasons.
  • Coordinate food preparation to quality standards and presentation guidelines.
  • Cultivate relationships with event planners and professionals to secure new sales opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health codes, and safety standards.
  • Supervise partners, address guest complaints, and oversee cash handling procedures.
  • Perform cashier duties, food preparation, and other tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Food Service or Hospitality preferred.
  • Serve Safe Certification required.
  • Strong leadership, motivation, and team development skills.
  • Valid driver's license for operating event truck and trailer.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform various tasks.

Compensation

Hourly wage: $17.4-$17.45
