Job Description
The Clumpies & GOOD DOG Catering and Events Team Leader will play a crucial role in executing catering and special events operations. Reporting to the Inventory & E-Commerce Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring outstanding guest service, supervising team members, managing event logistics, and driving sales growth through effective customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent guest service in alignment with organizational values.
- Lead and motivate the Catering and Special Events team to achieve operational goals.
- Schedule and manage catering outlets efficiently, maximizing revenue during peak seasons.
- Coordinate food preparation to quality standards and presentation guidelines.
- Cultivate relationships with event planners and professionals to secure new sales opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health codes, and safety standards.
- Supervise partners, address guest complaints, and oversee cash handling procedures.
- Perform cashier duties, food preparation, and other tasks as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Food Service or Hospitality preferred.
- Serve Safe Certification required.
- Strong leadership, motivation, and team development skills.
- Valid driver's license for operating event truck and trailer.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform various tasks.
Compensation
Hourly wage: $17.4-$17.45
