We are looking for a dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT exams and ensuring the best possible images for interpretation while following radiation protection principles. Your role will involve providing exceptional patient care and contributing to our Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy.
Responsibilities:
- Verify patient identification and physician orders.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and their families.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Perform CT imaging procedures and care using appropriate methods.
- Operate CT equipment proficiently and ensure quality control.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Ensure timely relay of STAT requests to radiologists.
- Maintain cleanliness and stock of exam rooms.
- Utilize hospital computer systems effectively.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certification by ARRT and additional CT certification within 1 year of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification required.
