Responsibilities
- Provide essential healthcare services and treatment within a correctional environment.
- Administer medications, conduct patient assessments, and assist in emergencies as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being of detainees and compliance with healthcare protocols.
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold the highest standards of care.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Current LPN licensure in the state of employment and BLS certification.
- Ability to work full-time with availability for 12-hour shifts, including weekends.
- Prior experience in correctional healthcare is desirable but not mandatory.
