Production Worker

Job Description

ATI is currently looking for a Production Worker to join our Atomizer department in Oakdale, PA. As a Production Worker, you will play a critical role in the atomization process, transforming molten metal into powder using high-pressure inert gas. The powder metal produced is utilized in aerospace, nuclear, and national defense applications, enhancing material strength and durability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment and ensure efficient operation.
• Weigh raw materials for product chemistry.
• Prepare heats accurately for continuous atomization.
• Perform various refractory tasks.
• Clean, assemble, and inspect equipment for melt preparation.
• Verify equipment readiness for atomization.
• Install and remove the furnace from the melt chamber.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing, Military, or Industrial experience.

Skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
