Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a full-time Radiology Technologist in the afternoons, you will be responsible for performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology while adhering to radiation protection principles. Your role will involve providing the best possible images for interpretation and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient histories and document in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow protocols for maintenance and quality control.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Must be registered with the ARRT within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers required.
