Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse I to join our Adult Outpatient Psych team at Sinai Hospital. As an RN in this role, you will be responsible for participating in program-based and behavioral health quality improvement activities, providing evaluation, medication administration, patient education, and group intervention services to a diverse adult and geriatric population. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will supervise staff to ensure the highest level of care for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Participate in quality improvement activities related to behavioral health programs.
- Administer medications and provide patient education and group interventions.
- Supervise staff and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in Maryland or Compact License.
- Minimum 1 year of Inpatient Behavioral Health experience.
- Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
- Experience with EMR systems, Cerner preferred.
- ANCC Psychiatric/Mental Health Certification preferred.
