Tire Design Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Tire Design Engineer to join TOYO TIRE NORTH AMERICA MANUFACTURING INC., a leading international tire manufacturing company. As a Tire Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the tire manufacturing process, focusing on tire construction, testing, and performance optimization. This position involves creating and maintaining tire building specifications, coordinating tire builds and testing, and collaborating with various departments to ensure high-quality tire production.

Responsibilities

• Create and issue experimental tire building specifications.
• Conduct and analyze controlled experimental tire builds.
• Verify production tire building specifications and coordinate testing.
• Review and analyze factory processing of tires.
• Coordinate project schedules and testing processes.
• Work on competitor tire analysis and material evaluation programs.
• Write reports and present information effectively in meetings.

Education and Experience

Engineering degree from a four-year college, preferably in Mechanical, with one to two years of relevant experience.
