Job Description

As a 1st Shift Operator 2, Molding at MacLean-Fogg, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient and accurate operation of assigned mechanical equipment to produce high-quality products. Your dedication to upholding safety, environmental, and quality standards will contribute to our commitment to delivering world-class quality to our customers. You will also be responsible for interpreting work instructions, following written and verbal directions, and demonstrating basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned mechanical equipment
• Ensure that items produced pass quality control requirements
• Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and make adjustments
• Read and interpret blueprints if applicable
• Use basic measuring instruments
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
• Adhere to 5S standards, maintaining cleanliness of work area, among others
• Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

• Perform work under general supervision
• Handle moderately complex issues and problems, referring more complex issues to higher-level staff
• Possess beginning to working knowledge of subject matter
• 3 to 12 months of experience
