Job Description

Join the ALDI team as a 1st Shift Warehouse Maintenance and be responsible for maintaining and implementing effective solutions to technical and facility-related challenges. Develop and cooperate on preventative maintenance programs, communicate with relevant personnel on maintenance matters, and ensure warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements are achieved. This role also involves maintaining confidentiality, achieving budgeted goals, and following ergonomic and safety guidelines for essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement solutions to technical and facility-related problems.
• Cooperate and interact effectively through ongoing communication on maintenance matters.
• Maintain and implement preventative maintenance programs and consult with the warehouse management team on improvement opportunities.
• Perform general cleaning duties, routine maintenance on the warehouse building, and schedule and contact vendors and contractors for necessary repairs.
• Assist warehouse management in achieving budgeted goals and perform all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Education and Experience

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to lift up to 45 pounds at various heights.
• Capable of sitting, standing, bending, reaching, gripping, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking throughout the warehouse.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, hot and cold, and safely operate powered industrial equipment.
