1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

ALDI is currently seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team in Shift B. As an integral part of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards. This position requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning and inventory tasks.
• Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Ensure product quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment safely and report issues promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.

• Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate industrial equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Prepare merchandise for deliveries.
• Stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Operate powered equipment safely.
