Job Description

Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking to join a leading retail organization? Aldi is seeking a 3rd Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to help fulfill orders from stores, maintain warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements, and assist in achieving budgeted goals. This position offers the opportunity to work independently and within a team environment, playing an integral part in the company's warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to effectively fulfill orders received from stores.
• Relocate merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise strategically in preparation for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to achieve warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
• Participate in taking warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.
• Cooperate and interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership through ongoing communication and exchange of information.
• Inspect product, consult with warehouse management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
• Assist warehouse management in achieving budgeted goals.
• Operate equipment according to safety guidelines in performance of essential job functions.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role at Aldi.
• Demonstrate concern for quality, product integrity, and safety of one’s own and others’ work.
• Adapt positively to pressure, setbacks, and challenges to achieve and sustain peak effectiveness.
• Deliver excellent performance by seizing opportunities and proactively taking concrete actions.
• Make decisions, stay organized, and maintain compliance with Aldi standards to support overall productivity.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Frequently move merchandise from warehouse stock and prepare product for store deliveries.
• Frequently required to sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Continuously work in varying temperatures, hot and cold.
• Ability to safely and properly operate powered industrial equipment.
