Job Description
Our company, MacLean-Fogg, is seeking a dedicated CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. As a part of our production team, you will be responsible for operating assigned mechanical equipment to ensure the efficient manufacturing of high-quality products. Responsibilities
- Operate assigned mechanical equipment to meet production requirements
- Ensure that items produced meet quality control standards
- Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and make necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operation
- Read and interpret blueprints, if applicable
- Use basic measuring instruments accurately to ensure product specifications are met
- Complete all necessary production and quality control documents accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area according to 5S standards
- Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the manufacturing process
Requirements
- Work under direct supervision while following written and verbal directions
- Possess beginning to working knowledge of subject matter and demonstrate the ability to handle basic issues and problems
- Minimum of 3 to 12 months of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to interpret work instructions, follow written and verbal directions, and demonstrate basic mathematical and communication skills
