Job Description
As the Water Manager at American Land & Leisure, you will be responsible for managing all water systems within the district. Your primary role will involve supervising the creation or maintenance of water system operations plan books, ensuring they contain essential startup and close down procedures, maintenance logs, cross connection plans, and necessary documentation for compliance.
You will be responsible for reviewing all water operating plans, making recommendations for updates, and collecting the plan books at the end of the year for storage at the corporate office.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and maintain updates for water system operations plan books
- Host and facilitate training of district managers and maintenance staff on proper techniques
- Monitor state testing schedules for certification and inform corporate staff for licensing
- Manage violation notices and responses, as well as condition monitoring, compliance, and corrective actions
- Supervise the opening, monitoring, and closing of water systems, including troubleshooting and reporting
Compensation
Hourly wage: $15.65 - $16.65
