Cold Former Operator, Experienced

Job Description

MacLean-Fogg is seeking an experienced Cold Former Operator to join our manufacturing team. As a Cold Former Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating assigned mechanical equipment, ensuring that items produced meet quality control requirements, and collaborating with the team to increase overall throughput. Additionally, you will be expected to interpret blueprints, provide leadership, and abide by safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assigned mechanical equipment
• Check that items produced pass quality control requirements
• Perform complex troubleshooting and make adjustments or repairs as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications
• Collaborate with team members to increase overall throughput
• Consult with management and assist with training
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring as required
• Complete all necessary documents accurately and adhere to 5S standards
• Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures

Experience and Education

• Perform work under minimal supervision
• Handle complex issues and problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher-level staff
• Possess comprehensive working knowledge of subject matter
• 5 years of experience
