Job Description
We are currently looking for a dedicated CT Technologist to join Corewell Health on a full-time basis for the night shift. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT exams using state-of-the-art imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists. The ideal candidate will adhere to ALARA radiation protection principles, demonstrate excellent clinical skills, and prioritize patient and family-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Verify patient identification and physician orders.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and their families.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document records.
- Operate CT imaging equipment proficiently and conduct quality control tests.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Ensure timely relay of STAT requests to radiologists.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms.
- Utilize hospital computer systems effectively.
- Engage in interdepartmental communication and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certification by ARRT with additional CT certification within 1 year of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification required.
