Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Provide feedback to management on products, inventory, and overall store operations
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures, and comply with company policies and security measures
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate a cash register and other store equipment
- Demonstrate attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team setting
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
