Job Description
We are currently seeking a Checker/Driver to join our team at ArcBest II ABF Freight. As a City Driver, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo to various destinations in Honolulu, HI. Our drivers are essential in maintaining strong customer relationships, and we value the contribution they make to our team.
Responsibilities
- Perform pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
- Efficiently load and unload trailers using industry-standard techniques and technology.
- Adhere to designated schedules and duties based on terminal location.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21 years with at least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience.
- Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements.
- Stable work record, strong work ethic, and safe driving history.
- Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug screen and medical requirements.
