Job Description

Develops policy and directs and coordinates human resource activities, such as employment compensation, labor relations, and benefits. Manages employee benefits, provides representation for unemployment claims, employee relations support, and ensures compliance with company policies and Equal Opportunity. Oversees management of compensation plans and informs personnel about changes in regulatory requirements. Composes written correspondence within prescribed guidelines and performs other functions as required. Works with the Payroll department to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll.

Responsibilities

  • Manage employee benefits including administering all employee benefit plans, developing/implementing benefit policies and procedures.
  • Provides representation for unemployment claims.
  • Provides employee relations support.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and Equal Opportunity.
  • Oversee management of compensation plans.
  • Informs personnel about changes in regulatory requirements.
  • Compose written correspondence within prescribed guidelines.
  • Receive, interview, and complete investigations into employee or client complaints.
  • Participate on facility committees as assigned to represent Human Resources.
  • Work with the Payroll department to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or closely related field and four years of progressively responsible work experience in the field of human resource management/support.
  • Advanced knowledge in human resource management procedures.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to provide relevant feedback in an acceptable manner.
  • Knowledge of inclusiveness, social determinants of health, health equity, and health disparities.
