Job Description
L.L.Bean is seeking a licensed Industrial Master Electrician or Journeymen to work in their Order Fulfillment Center in Freeport. This full-time 2nd Shift position offers competitive pay starting at $37.00 per hour, premium pay for night shifts, a generous employee discount, and a $3,000 Sign-On Bonus. As an Industrial Master Electrician, you will be responsible for performing senior-level electrical maintenance functions, ensuring electrical safety across the company, and providing support on various electrical projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide complex electrical maintenance support across all departments
- Perform preventative maintenance on industrial equipment and facilities
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC controlled equipment
- Install and maintain robotics, sorting, and vision systems
- Handle power distribution system installations and upgrades
- Mentor junior electricians and collaborate on technology requirements
- Ensure safety protocols are followed and hazards are mitigated
- Provide 24/7 on-call coverage when required
Requirements
- Licensed Master Electrician with industrial maintenance experience
- Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and PLC troubleshooting
- Experience with electrical blueprints and controls
- Strong collaboration and mentoring abilities
- Valid driver's license and ability to work at heights

Education & Experience
Master electrician license and 6 years of experience, or Associate's Degree with a master electrician license.
