Inside Sales / Service Associate

Job Description

We are looking for an Inside Sales / Service Associate to join our team at Wayne Brothers Companies in Eagleville, TN. As an integral part of the sales team, you will assist customers in determining their supply needs, recommend products, process orders, and ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will support outside sales efforts and maintain effective communication with various departments to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers' needs and recommend appropriate products.
• Up-sell additional products and supplies to customers.
• Process sales orders and handle customer inquiries.
• Support Outside Sales Representatives with customer orders and quotes.
• Coordinate customer pick-ups and ensure timely deliveries.
• Address and resolve service concerns as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma / GED.
• 2 years of inside sales experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of products and computer skills.

Working Conditions

• Indoors – Frequently.
• Outdoors – Occasional.
• Seasonal temperatures and occasional loud noise.
• Typically a forty to fifty-hour work week.

Certificates & Licenses

• Valid driver's license.
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification required.
• Forklift Operator Certification required.

Physical Demands

• Standing/sitting for extended periods.
• Talking on the phone for various durations.
