Job Description
The Helen Ross McNabb Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses to join our nursing team. As an LPN, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing high-quality care to our clients. We offer a variety of positions in East Tennessee, providing a range of nursing services in both clinic and community settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care, including medication administration, health assessments, and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement client-centered care plans.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients, adhering to best practices and professional standards.
- Assist in the coordination of care and support services for clients and their families.
Requirements
- Current LPN license in Tennessee.
- Experience in working with individuals with mental health and co-occurring disorders is preferred.
- CPR certification or willingness to become certified.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in electronic medical records and related software.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the role, including lifting, bending, and implementing de-escalation techniques.
