LSRT PRN - Urgent Care

Job Description

OnPoint Medical Group is seeking a talented LSRT to join our dynamic urgent care team. This PRN position offers the opportunity to work with a growing network of skilled medical professionals, providing access to quality healthcare in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care, including medical assistant duties and performing X-rays.
• Maintain accurate reports and records, prepare rooms and equipment, and ensure stock of supplies is maintained.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Maintain infection-control policies, patient confidentiality, and cleanliness of the center.
• Deliver lab tests, EKGs, X-Rays, and other procedures as directed by the provider on duty.
• Orient and train LSRT/MA techs on patient care duties and X-ray completion.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and quality control of the center, and attend meetings required by managers.
• Ensure proper functioning of clinical and X-ray systems, optimize customer flow and satisfaction.

Education & Experience Requirements

• LSRT certification and Medical Assistant training.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in similar job function.
• BLS certification.

• Ability to prioritize, evaluate and make recommendations for continuous quality improvement, and communicate clearly and effectively.

Work Environment & Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $28 - $33 per hour, along with AFLAC plans, 401(k) eligibility after 6 months of employment, and paid sick time earned. Evening and weekend work may be necessary in a well-lighted clinical environment.
