Machine Operator, Forming - 2nd Shift

Job Description

MacLean-Fogg, a leading manufacturer in the automotive and industrial sectors, is seeking a skilled Machine Operator for our Forming department on the 2nd shift. You will be responsible for setting up and operating assigned mechanical equipment, performing quality control checks, troubleshooting equipment, and adhering to safety and 5S standards. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate assigned mechanical equipment.
• Perform quality control checks on products.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform adjustments.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Adhere to 5S standards and maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.

Experience and Education

• Work under minimal supervision and handle complex issues and problems.
• Possess 3 to 5 years of experience.

Competencies/ Skills

• Ability to interpret work instructions and follow written and verbal directions.
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate mathematical skills and use of required gaging instruments.
