Job Description
MacLean-Fogg is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our 2nd shift team at our Mooresville, NC facility. The ideal candidate will apply electrical theory and knowledge to assist in the design, evaluation, and repair of electrical equipment.
Job Duties
- Provide technical assistance and resolution for electrical and engineering problems encountered before, during, and after construction.
- Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve developmental problems.
- Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems.
- Install, repair, modify, and upgrade industrial control systems, including relay controlled and microprocessor-based PLC logic.
- Conduct inspections for quality control and assurance programs, reporting findings and recommendations.
- Prepare project cost and work-time estimates when needed. Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
- Adhere to 5S standards and follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Education
- 2 to 4 years of experience and accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program.
- Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter.
- Ability to interpret work instructions, follow written and verbal directions, and intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
